About our product

and why we refuse to cut corners.

Here's the thing about making prescription dive masks:

Most companies take the easy route.

They use plastic lenses. They offer "close enough" prescriptions. They slap a lens into a mask and call it a day.

And for a lot of people, that's fine.

But we didn't build this company for "a lot of people."

We built it for divers who refuse to compromise. Whether you're a father who wants to see your kid's face light up when they spot their first octopus, or a professional who depends on crystal-clear vision at 100 feet, you deserve better than "good enough."

Why Optical Glass?
(and why Marco won’t use anything else)

When Marco made his first prescription dive mask, he had a choice:

Use plastic lenses (cheap, easy, "good enough") or use optical glass (expensive, difficult, perfect).

For most people, that's not even a question. Plastic is fine. It works. It's what everyone else uses.

But we're not most companies.

We come from a background of precision optics. Working with companies like Carl Zeiss, where "good enough" doesn't exist. And we know what's at stake underwater.

For a father diving with his kids, it's about not missing the moment when they point at something incredible.

For a dive instructor leading groups, it's about clearly seeing every student, every signal, every potential issue.

For an underwater photographer, it's about nailing the shot without squinting through a blurry viewfinder.

For a technical diver at depth, it's about reading instruments accurately when it matters most.

So when it came time to choose, there was no choice.

Optical glass. Every single time.

Here's why:

It's sharper. No distortion. No warping. Just crystal-clear vision at any depth.

It's more durable. Scratch-resistant. Built to last through hundreds of dives.

It doesn't mess with colors. Critical for identifying marine life, reading gauges, or capturing that perfect photo.

Plastic and polycarbonate? They're fine for sunglasses. But when you're 40 feet down and your kid is pointing at a seahorse, "fine" isn't good enough.

Plastic and polycarbonate? They're fine for casual use. But when clarity isn't optional, when you're working underwater or making memories with the people you love, "fine" isn't good enough.

Marco knows that. Because he's been there.

And he refuses to give you anything less than what he'd use himself.

How We Make Your Mask

Every mask we produce is custom-made. Not "sort of" custom. Not "close enough." Actually custom.

Here's how it works:

We start with your exact prescription
Including astigmatism, prism correction, and any other specifications your eyes require. Not an approximation. Your exact prescription. The same precision we'd use for a pilot's glasses or a surgeon's loupes.

We measure your pupillary distance (PD)
The distance between your pupils. If your lenses aren't aligned with your eyes, your vision will be off. For professional divers who need to read instruments quickly or spot details at distance, this precision is non-negotiable.

We create your lenses from optical glass
The same high-quality mineral glass found in precision optics like high-tech lasers, microscopes, and military-grade equipment. This is the material professionals trust when failure isn't an option.

We bond the lenses to your mask
Using a specialized chemical bonding process that permanently fuses your prescription lens to the mask's tempered glass. The result? A durable, optically precise mask that performs dive after dive, whether you're exploring a reef with your family or conducting a technical survey at 200 feet.

No shortcuts. No compromises. Just a mask that works the way it's supposed to.

The Result? You See What You've Been Missing

You're exploring a reef with your kids. Your daughter points at something, a tiny nudibranch tucked into the coral, barely visible.

And for the first time, you don't have to squint. You don't have to nod and pretend you saw it. You actually SEE it. Sharp. Clear. Vivid. And you share that moment together.

Or you're leading a group of students through their certification dives. You need to monitor five people simultaneously, read their gauges from a distance, catch their hand signals clearly.

Or you're shooting underwater footage and the difference between a usable shot and a missed opportunity is whether you can see your subject clearly through your viewfinder.

Or you're conducting a technical dive where reading your instruments accurately isn't just important, it's survival.

That's what optical glass does. That's what precision does.

And that's why we refuse to compromise.

Why We Only Use Brand-New Masks

A lot of prescription dive mask makers will take YOUR used mask and try to retrofit it with lenses.

We don't do that.

Here's why:

We can't control the quality of a used mask. Scratches, wear, damage, it all affects the final result. And when you're depending on your equipment, whether that's for a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation or a professional dive where your livelihood depends on performance. We refuse to compromise.

So we work exclusively with brand-new masks. That way, you get a product that's built right from the start.
